IT Infrastructure Committee
Charge
The IT Infrastructure Committee will review, recommend, and prioritize IT services and service levels available to the university. The committee will provide a technical advisory role towards compliance, future technologies, and services to the university. It will work with the IT Leadership Team for system infrastructure initiatives and design.
Objectives
- Advise upon essential core services and prioritize service levels
- Define and advocate for high value IT services
- Evaluate and recommend funding models for core services
- Evaluate, recommend, and initiate major projects for infrastructure improvements
- Collaborate with similar committees at other universities
- Coordinate shared IT services across the University of Illinois system
