Functional Committees
Functional committees provide recommendations to IT Leadership Council on annual project priorities within their respective areas of expertise. The functional committees (Administrative Applications, Educational Technologies, Health Sciences IT Leadership, Information Security, IT Infrastructure, and Research) report to the ITLC, which is chaired by UIC’s Chief Information Officer, Matt Riley, and in turn, the ITLC reports to the Vice Chancellor for Innovation. The group advises UIC administration through the VCI on all IT-related matters.
