The Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) provides a virtual and in-person space where all those in the UIC community with responsibilities in teaching, including current and future faculty, graduate student teaching assistants, and instructors across a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional school courses, can find supportive teaching and technology resources and professional learning programs.

As part of CATE, the Learning Technology Solution (LTS) support team, comprised of academic technologists with expertise in classroom technologies and learning systems, is ready to help ensure that the learning process goes as smoothly as possible through centralized support of the entire teaching with technology services.

Faculty support for incidents and requests for teaching with technology such as Blackboard, VoiceThread, Echo360, Panopto, etc. is available Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
