Azure Compliance with NIST 800-171
Unlocking Broader Research Data Capabilities at UIC
Any organization that processes or stores sensitive, unclassified information on behalf of the U.S. government is required to be compliant with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171 (NIST SP 800-171) cybersecurity standards. Technology Solutions and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) are working together to provide a new research infrastructure that meets NIST 800-171 requirements to broaden research capabilities at UIC.
