Outlook for Android require will require Android 8.0 or above starting May 23, 2022
Introduction
Microsoft has announced that effective May 23, 2022, the Outlook for Android mobile app will no longer receive updates on devices using Android version 7.1 or earlier.
Why is this change happening?
Updated versions provide the most up-to-date security. Android users are cautioned from using outdated, unsupported versions of Android, as this may pose a threat to security and personal data.
What you need to do:
Please ensure that you update your mobile device to Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later before May 23, so that you can continue to receive security and feature updates for the Outlook mobile app.
