Maintenance Windows

Technology Solutions' maintenance windows are scheduled to have the least impact on UIC operations, and downtime for services is kept to a minimum. However, certain services may be unavailable for extended periods of time due to necessary updates. Below are the planned 2020-2021 Maintenance Window schedules. Email communications are sent to notify the UIC Community of scheduled global maintenance windows and what services may be impacted.
  • Global Windows

    Maintenance windows begin at 9:30pm on Friday and end at 11:59pm on Sunday.

    • August 14-16, 2020
    • December 18-20, 2020
    • March 19-21, 2021
    • May 14-16, 2021
  • Red WordPress Multisite

    Maintenance windows begin at 8:30am on Tuesdays and last 1-2 minutes. There is no expected downtime during this period, but please be aware that brief interruptions are possible.

  • Maintenance Calendar

    Service changes are reviewed and approved by the Technology Solutions Change Advisory Board and are scheduled for implementation. This calendar reflects the schedule of changes.
