Shefali Mookencherry, CISO and Chief Privacy Officer at the University of Illinois Chicago, has been named a finalist for the 2025 ChicagoCISO ORBIE® Awards in the prestigious Large Enterprise category, honoring her outstanding leadership.

The ChicagoCISO ORBIE® Awards honors chief information security officers who have demonstrated excellence in leadership. With support from Crain’s Chicago Business, ChicagoCISO will honor the CISOs who are driving innovation and transforming Chicagoland’s leading organizations. The ORBIE Awards will take place on May 15th at Marriott Marquis Chicago.
