ACER announces the 2024 Computational Research Symposium

Advanced Cyberinfrastructure for Education and Research (ACER), the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, and UIC Library are proud to host the inaugural Computational Research Symposium on April 1, 2024 at Student Center East.

This all-day Symposium will showcase how UIC faculty, staff, and students from all corners of the campus are using computational resources and techniques such as data analytics and artificial intelligence to advance their research. The event is also a great opportunity for you to network and learn more about exciting research happening at UIC.
The program will include several keynote speakers from both academia and industry, as well as a series of lightning talks from members of the UIC research community. In addition, UIC students will have the opportunity to present their work and compete for cash prizes at the event’s poster session.
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. More details will be posted on the Computational Research Symposium page in the coming weeks.
