2022 UIC Technology Solutions Cyber Security Quiz Contest Rules
Complete the Cyber Security quiz with a score of 100% to be entered in a random drawing for a chance to win one of four $50 Gift Certificates to the UIC Bookstore.
By entering the drawing, the entrant agrees to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the judges.
1. ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open only to current UIC students with a valid UIC NetID at the time of entry.
2. CONTEST PERIOD: The quiz/contest period begins October 3rd and ends Oct 28th (“Contest Period”).
3. TO ENTER: You must fully complete the official UIC Cyber Security Quiz with a score of 100% and provide us with your full name and UIC email address to be entered into the contest. Limit one (1) entry per student, per week.
4. DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing every week in the month of October 2022. Each winner will receive one prize.
5. PRIZE DETAILS: One $50 gift certificate to the UIC Bookstore.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will contact the winners via their UIC email. Potential winners must provide any requested information within seventy two (72) hours or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor is not responsible for any change in entrant’s email address. Winners must pick up the prize at the Technology Solutions office or designated location on campus. If the winner is unable to comply or pick up the prize within (72) hours, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor or Promotion Parties resulting from entrant’s participation in or attempt to participate in the Contest or ability or inability to upload or download any information in connection with the Contest.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: No transfer of prize is permitted. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. If the prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to (a) disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process, and (b) cancel, modify or terminate the Contest.
