10/10 – Improvements to UIC’s Network Address Management infrastructure – Intermittent outages may occur [Resolved]
UIC Technology Solutions has taken a key step in modernizing UIC’s Network Address Management infrastructure and has partnered with EfficientIP, a network security and automation company. By partnering with EfficientIP, UIC will improve the stability, security, and reliability of our websites and applications.
What is happening?
Technology Solutions will begin transferring UIC’s Network Address Management infrastructure to EfficientIP servers on Monday, October 10 at 6:00 PM CT.
We anticipate no outages but there may be intermittent interruptions on UIC websites and applications between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM CT.
The transfer will be completed by Monday, October 10th at 11:59 PM CT.

The Network Address Management infrastructure modernization effort supports the IT Strategy and Operate with Excellence initiative by retiring legacy systems and replacing systems with new technologies.
