Ann Fredricksen | Coordinator of Accessible Media Services | Disability Resources and Educational Services at UIUC

Ann Fredricksen holds a BA in Physics from Carthage College and an MS/LIS from the University of Illinois. Since 2008, she has worked with Disability Resources and Educational Services, where she now serves as Coordinator of Accessible Media Services, providing accessible learning materials across the university. In 2020, Ann received the Lorine Y. Cowan Award for Excellence in Access and Accommodations. A campus expert in media accessibility, she leads efforts in captioning and audio description and has developed a captioning training course for Illinois faculty and staff.
