Microscopy for Medical Imaging Using AI Techniques
Microscopy is a scientific technique that allows researchers to view and understand objects too small to be seen in the naked eye. Image processing plays an important role in this process by providing tools that help analyze microscopy images.
This seminar provides an in-depth exploration of using MATLAB for microscopy applications. It covers image acquisition, processing, and analysis techniques, demonstrating how MATLAB supports AI workflows to enhance image quality, automate workflows, and extract meaningful data from microscopic images. Practical examples and case studies showcase the integration of AI algorithms within MATLAB to improve efficiency and accuracy in microscopy research. Attendees will gain valuable insights into leveraging MATLAB’s capabilities to advance their microscopy projects.
In this session, through live demonstrations, you will learn how to:
- Access and visualize microscopy images.
- Process large whole-slide images using block processing.
- Utilize a pretrained deep learning model (Cellpose) for cell segmentation.
Who Should Attend
Faculty, staff, researchers, and students are welcome!
