Enroll in MultiFactor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your UIC account and is required to access many university systems and services.
Set up MFA on your devices to help protect your account and ensure you can access the technology resources you need.
Access UIC Email
Your UIC email is the university’s primary way of communicating important academic, administrative, and campus information.
Check your UIC email regularly to stay informed about university announcements, course communications, technology updates, and other important information.
Connect to UIC-WiFi
Stay connected on campus with UIC-WiFi, UIC’s secure wireless network for students, faculty, and staff.
Configure your laptop, phone, and other devices to connect to UIC-WiFi for reliable internet access across campus.

Having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, accessing your account, using university technology, or finding the right IT resource?
IT Help Desk
The Technical Help Desk is here to help. Students can also visit the Help Desk at the Richard J. Daley Library IDEA Commons for in-person technology assistance Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
