This webinar builds on basic Linux knowledge and is intended for users who are already comfortable with the command line and want to work more efficiently on UIC’s High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. The session focuses on commonly used intermediate Linux tools and workflows that are especially useful when working on the Lakeshore HPC Cluster.
Participants will learn how to handle files and processes more effectively, work with permissions, and better understand how Linux supports research workflows on shared computing systems. The emphasis is on practical commands and techniques that help streamline everyday work on the cluster.
This session is recommended for researchers and students who have attended the introductory Linux workshop or have equivalent experience.

- Use intermediate Linux commands to manage files and directories more efficiently
