UIC strives to ensure that ICTs that has been designed, developed, or procured is accessible for people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies, and are consistent with applicable laws.
Accessibility Training Implementation Guideline

This Guideline ensures that university employees, student workers, and faculty who are responsible for developing and maintaining electronic information or course content are educated about the accessibility needs of individuals with disabilities.
Accessible ICT Procurement Guidelines

Using these guidelines will help to ensure that university employees who are responsible for procurement purchase accessible (as defined in the Policy) ICT products for students, faculty, and staff.
Exception Review Implementation Guideline

These guidelines provide a formal process to request exceptions to the UIC ICT Accessibility Policy for specific technology or content. This process is used for all inaccessible technologies, including purchase, renewal, software developed in UIC.
